For the pilot, forward or upload invoices from the same supplier. Two from different dates gives the best comparison; one is fine to start.

We'll send a simple report showing readable price increases, pack-size changes, fees found, and any lines we could not confidently compare.

The planned FoodCostWatch experience is simple: complete a one-time setup so supplier invoices can flow in automatically. After that, FoodCostWatch keeps monitoring them and surfaces price changes without you remembering to upload or compare invoices each week.
Pre-launch note: that automation is not built yet. This free pilot uses manual invoice submission so we can first prove restaurants want the outcome.

What is this?
FoodCostWatch is a pre-launch pilot for a restaurant price-monitoring service designed to become automatic after a one-time setup. During this test, reports are prepared manually with AI-assisted analysis and human review.
Is the price check free?
Yes. The pilot price check is free. There is no subscription charge during this test.
What happens to my invoices?
Invoices are kept private, used only to prepare your price check and evaluate this pilot, never sold or shared for marketing, and deleted within 90 days. You may black out bank details, account numbers, payment information, or anything not needed to compare items and prices.
Will I have to keep sending invoices manually?
Not in the planned product. The goal is a one-time setup so future supplier invoices can flow into FoodCostWatch automatically. During this pre-launch pilot, you will send or upload invoices manually while we validate demand.
Which suppliers work?
Any distributor or local supplier, as long as the invoices are readable and show item descriptions and prices.
Will it cost money later?
If the product launches, the planned founding price is $49/month. Joining later is optional, and the intended subscription will be cancel-anytime.
